In this Microsoft Flow tutorial, we will discuss how to run Microsoft flow on schedule. We will discuss how we can send an email in a schedule/recurrence in Microsoft flow.
For example, Suppose in an Organization, You want to send an email notification to all employees of your team, which will be on a scheduled basis, then you need to schedule the flow.
That means on a particular time period, the flow will run and the email will go to all employees of your team. This is called as Email Recurrence.
In this Flow example, I want to show you how we can create email recurrence by using Microsoft Flow.
Run Flows on a schedule: Microsoft flow
You can see the whole structure of this Email Recurrence Microsoft flow example in below screenshot.
send an email recurrence using microsoft flow
At first, Create a Flow from blank. Add a trigger as “Recurrence (Schedule)”. Once you will add the Recurrence trigger, You need to fill some recurrence fields as:
Interval: Specify the interval where the flow will run based upon this time.
Frequency: Select the frequency that helps to run the flow either in a Day, Month etc.
Time zone: Select a Time zone to specify whether the Start time reflects a local time zone.
If you want to add the Start time or hours, interval, frequency, etc then you can add further based upon your requirement.

Now add an action as “Send an email” which will help you to send the email notification to all employees of your team on a particular time schedule. This action has below fields:
To: Mention Email ID of an employee to whom you want to send an email notification.
Subject: Enter a subject line that will appear in the Email.
Body: Enter the body part that describes the Email notification.
CC: Provide the Email ID of an employee to whom you want to consider as CC.
Once all the process completed, Just check the flow error and if no error, then simply “Save” the flow.
